What to expect

Feel the beat and energy of the traditional Japanese taiko drum. Watch a live performance then join in to learn the various ways of expressing yourself musically.
Watch a live demonstration by your instructor as you step into the world of Japanese music. Experiment with various types of the taiko drums and learn to play each one. From the colossal drums placed horizontally to smaller drums placed on your shoulder, express yourself through the beats and strokes through the traditional instruments.

The instructor was very enthusiastic and thorough. We went through several different patterns and played over some festival music, it was easy to follow with a little practise. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it was one of the highlights of my holiday
