    Skilled boatmen use traditional techniques to navigate the yakatabune with a single bamboo pole, a unique experience. Arashiyama Tusen, established in 1912, continues this manual boat handling tradition.

    Please come to the boarding point, using the blue boat floating on the shore upstream of Togetsukyo Bridge as a landmark. At the boarding point, please tell us the name of your reservation and you will be boarded.

    Parking information

    Parking is not available at the boat boarding point. Please use the nearby coin-operated parking lots.

  • This plan accommodates up to 9 participants. Infants are counted as one person, the same as adults.
  • Infants (0-3 years old): Free
  • In the event of bad weather or river flooding, service may be temporarily halted. Before visiting, please check the latest operational status on the official website or by calling directly. Please note that phone support is provided in Japanese.

今回で３回目毎回とても気持ち良い体験です。
娘も3歳時に初乗りして今年２０歳の記念になりました。
京都に足を運ぶ時には遊覧するつもりです。

喫煙所の少ない観光地で緑に囲まれながらお弁当、ビールにタバコ
ゆったり流れる時間
たった２人で貸切の舟
最高に贅沢な時間でした
金額、倍にしてもいいと思います

Went with my family, since we came the service was very efficient, no waiting line and it was a private reservation so we had the boat by ourselves.

The view is beautiful, the food was really good and had a lot of variety of Japanese food, the presentation of everything was really well thought!

There is also a convenience boat, which selled drinks, grilled squid and dango. It was very nice! 1 hour of boat trip but it was totally worth it.

Would do it again!
