*From mid-October to mid-June, the return cable car is not available. For families with small children or those who are not confident in their physical strength, it is recommended to visit during the period when the cable car is operational (June 15 to October 15).

Restrictions

【Recommended Age】
Children aged 3 and above can participate with parental support. However, there are moments requiring about 30 minutes of quiet, so only children who can manage this are eligible.
*Children aged 2 and under are free.
Children can participate alone starting from 5th grade.
This is a family-oriented experience, and generally do not accept reservations for adults only. Thank you for your understanding.

What to bring

Insect repellent
Drinks (considering salt intake and other measures) to prevent heatstroke.
Wear clothing that covers your skin, especially during the summer.
Bring rain gear such as a raincoat or a foldable umbrella, as weather conditions can change suddenly.
Feel free to bring a camera if you wish, but it is not required.

Additional notes

Please note that since the animals and birds are wild, there may be times when sightings are few or none at all.
The event will be canceled in case of rain.
If the weather deteriorates to the point where observation becomes difficult during the event, it will be canceled.

Other requirements

From October 16 onwards, the last cable car departs earlier, so you will need to walk back. Please keep this in mind if you are participating with small children.
*Cable car is available from June 15 to October 15.

ムササビも、昆虫も、夜景も見ました

ムササビが飛ぶところを4回も見ることが出来るとは、思ってませんでした。1回でも見ることが出来ればと思って参加。結果は、期待以上の回数を見ることが出来ました。
ケーブルカーの下車駅からムササビ観察ポイントの往復の道すがらでは、さまざまな昆虫にも出会いました。薄いミドリのオオミズアオ、コクワガタ、ナナフシ、ウマオイ、などなど。珍しいトゲナナフシにも出会いました。
帰り道では、ムササビの鳴き声も聞きました。
とても楽しい自然体験が満載ツアーでした。
薬王院から見た夜景もキレイでした。
