  • Due to ferry schedules, this tour is only available to guests staying overnight on Iriomote Island.
  • Due to the return schedule of the Urauchi River sightseeing boat, strict time limits are in place. Please be advised that if we do not reach the Itashiki River junction by 12:00 PM, we will be required to turn back.
  • The trail to Mayagusuku Falls is extremely demanding. We strongly recommend this tour only for experienced trekkers or those who are physically fit and highly confident in their stamina.
  • As of March 2025, this area is designated as a Taketomi Town Specified Natural Tourism Resource. Both an entry fee payment and an entry number are required. Rest assured, our shop will handle these procedures and payments on your behalf.
  • Iriomote Entry Permits (From March 2025)
    This area is a protected "Natural Resource" requiring official approval. We will apply for you, but please note:
    Booking: Subject to daily entry limits; if full, your tour will be canceled.
    Fee: A ¥500 processing fee is included in the tour price.
  • Age: 18–70 years old.

What to bring

    Swimwear / Clothes that can get wet
    Quick-drying gear like rash guards is recommended.
    To prevent leeches, we recommend socks and leggings (avoid exposing skin on lower body).
    Sandals or Marine shoes
    Drinks (2L or more recommended from March to May)
    Change of clothes (Only for those returning to Ishigaki Island)

Additional notes

  • Please note that cancellation fees will apply for cancellations due to personal reasons or changes in the number of participants without prior notice.
    No cancellation fee will be charged if you are unable to reach Iriomote Island due to ferry cancellations, or if the tour is canceled due to typhoons or bad weather.
  • The tour will proceed in rainy weather. However, if we determine that safety cannot be guaranteed, the tour may be canceled or the itinerary may be changed.
  • For your safety, life jackets must be worn at all times. Please note that wearing a life jacket is also mandatory while snorkeling.
  • In case of cancellation due to bad weather, we can offer an alternative itinerary. The owner will select the best available spots for that day, such as mangrove kayaking in a different river or trekking to locations like Geta Falls, Omija Falls, Kura Falls, Mayarock Falls, or limestone caves.
  • The guide will assist using a translation app.
