【Eizan Electric Railway 1-Day Pass “Ee Kippu”】
The “Ee Kippu” is a one-day unlimited ride pass for the Eizan Electric Railway.
Starting from Demachiyanagi Station, which is close to the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Shimogamo Shrine, the northbound railway line offers access to historical temples and shrines such as Kifune Shrine and Kurama-dera Temple.
For the area toward Kibuneguchi Station and Kurama Station, the scenic panoramic train “Kirara” operates, allowing you to fully enjoy the changing scenery along the route.
For the area toward Yase Hieizanguchi Station, the sightseeing train “Hiei” operates, and this ticket can also be used on that train.

*Ticket exchange is required. Please make sure to exchange your ticket at the ticket exchange counter (Eizan Electric Railway Demachiyanagi Station Information Desk). You cannot board by showing the purchase screen alone.

Itinerary

【Kurama Onsen】
Located at the foot of Mount Kurama, Kurama Onsen is a superb hot spring retreat harmoniously surrounded by seasonal nature.
The hot spring water is a sulfur spring that gently envelops the skin and is known as a “beautifying hot spring.”
From the open-air bath, you can take in sweeping views of the Kurama mountain range, with different scenery each season, including fresh greenery in spring, lush summer foliage, autumn leaves, and snowy winter landscapes.
Inside the facility, there is a spacious indoor bath, sauna, and cold bath.
Bathing while surrounded by abundant nature soothes both body and mind, providing deep relaxation.

Access: Free shuttle bus from Eizan Electric Railway Kurama Station
Opening hours: 10:00 to 21:00

*No reservation is required for the date or time of your visit.

Restrictions

Children aged 0 to 2 can enter for free. Children aged 3 to 5 should purchase a ticket on-site.
Guests with tattoos are also allowed to use the facility.
Wearing swimsuits is not permitted.
Please follow the rules and etiquette of Japanese hot springs when bathing.

【Eizan Electric Railway 1-Day Pass “Ee Kippu”】
If you are unable to present the QR code due to device malfunction, battery depletion, or other reasons, you will not be able to use the ticket. In such cases, you will need to purchase the necessary ticket separately.
【Kurama Onsen】
-The baths are separated by gender.
-The indoor bath and open-air bath set includes towels and room wear.
Towels and room wear are not included for the open-air bath admission.
Towel rental is available.
-Upon arrival, please first come to the front desk inside the facility and present your reservation voucher.

-A smartphone is required to purchase and use this digital ticket. Communication charges incurred during purchase or use are the responsibility of the customer.
-Ticket exchange is required. Please make sure to exchange your ticket at the ticket exchange counter (Eizan Electric Railway Demachiyanagi Station Information Desk). You cannot board by showing the purchase screen alone.
-Usage and handling are subject to the transportation terms and conditions.
【Kurama Onsen】
-This ticket cannot be used together with other tickets.
-Upon entering, please come to the front desk on the first floor of the main building. Show the staff your reservation screen (voucher). They will guide you through the facility. Towel and yukata rentals are also handled at the front desk. You may also choose to dine at the restaurant first.
