  • Due to the long cruise duration, children under elementary school age are not permitted to board.
  • Karaoke is not allowed. All seats are non-smoking, but a designated smoking area is available onboard.

Additional notes

  • The event will proceed in light rain. If severe weather (e.g. typhoon, strong winds) poses danger, the fireworks may be canceled on the day by the organizer. In such case, notices may be given in the morning or at the meeting point. No refund for transport or after departure. If canceled before boarding, you may join a 3-hr cruise at ¥13,800; the difference will be refunded later. Full refund if the cruise is canceled despite the fireworks being held.
  • You cannot specify the boat you will be boarding. (Horigotatsu style or chair and table style)
  • The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
  • A houseboat with a rooftop deck. (Air conditioning and Western-style toilets included)
  • During the fireworks festival, the rivers within the venue will be very crowded. Safety is our number one priority, so we cannot guarantee the disembarkation time. It will vary depending on the festival, but it will be around 21:30 to 22:30.
  • There is no emergency contact number on the day. If you do not show up at the meeting time, it may be considered a cancellation and we may have to depart. Please arrive with plenty of time.

From 8 days to 2 days before the participation date (by 5:00 PM local time): 30% of the total booking amount
From 2 days to 1 day before the participation date (by 5:00 PM local time): 40% of the total booking amount
From 1 day before the participation date (by 5:00 PM local time) to 1 hour before the scheduled time: 50% of the total booking amount
After 1 hour before the scheduled participation time: 100% of the total booking amount

The trip exceeded my expectations. The ship anchored between the two platforms set to shoot off the fireworks. Food and drink was plentiful. I didn't expect English service, which was ok since I speak a little bit of Japanese, but one of the waiters spoke perfect English so everything was easy. Given how hot and humid it was, riding in the Yakatabune is an excellent choice for viewing the fireworks. Unlimited beverage service, a clean restroom, and air conditioned cabin made the entire trip enjo… The trip exceeded my expectations.
