After check-in, a shuttle takes you to the starting point (about 1 minute). There, an instructor provides a briefing on paddling and rescue techniques. Experienced guides offer detailed instructions, and stable tandem kayaks ensure beginners can join with confidence.

The tour begins! Paddle into Kihoku's pristine waters, enjoying exclusive access. Experience Kumano Nada's ria coastline and uninhabited islands while honing your paddling skills.

Paddle Forward While Enjoying the Natural Scener
Once you're comfortable paddling, continue at a leisurely pace, feeling like you're on a water stroll. While you may be focused on your footing, remember to look up and enjoy the scenery. The setting sun reflecting on the sea offers a breathtaking view unique to a sunset cruise!

Land on the Uninhabited Akano Island!
Upon landing on the uninhabited island, it's time for lunch. Enjoy an outdoor meal while taking in the sea views. Afterward, relax with a coffee break.

Akano Island, resembling two islands combined, offers majestic natural views distinct from those on the water.

Return to the Starting Point
Depart Akano Island and paddle back to the starting point. A shuttle will return you to the base for changing. Enjoy dining and hot springs at the base for an additional cost.

For those arriving by car:
Exit at Kii-Nagashima IC on the Kisei Expressway, head south on Route 42 towards Owase for 6 km, turn left at the "Dose" intersection, cross the railroad crossing, and turn left again.

For those arriving by train:
Approximately 1.5 km from JR Minose Station.

Restrictions

Healthy individuals aged 4 and above can participate.
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Please consult us if participants are aged 70 and above or if there are more children than adults.

Additional notes

The tour may be canceled due to adverse weather conditions (rain or strong winds). In such cases, we will notify you by phone the evening before the tour. If it's difficult to make a decision the day before, we will make a final decision and contact you approximately two hours before the tour on the day itself.
Lunch will be provided. Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
