Schedule

  1. 09:30
    Meet at Kiaora Paddle.
  2. Reception
    Please fill out the health checklist and use the restroom.
  3. Paddling Instruction and Safety Talk
    After reception, take a 1-minute shuttle to the starting point. An instructor will brief you on paddling and rescue techniques. Wide, stable boards ensure safety for beginners.
  4. Tour Start
    The tour begins! Paddle into the serene waters of Kihoku, enjoying a private feel in the calm bay. Start with seated paddling, taking in the ria coastline and uninhabited islands. As you gain confidence, try standing up and paddling.
  5. Paddle Forward While Enjoying the Natural Scenery
    Once comfortable with paddling, enjoy a leisurely water stroll. Look up to admire the beautiful peninsulas and rugged coastline, preserved by locals!
  6. Landing on a Private Beach!
    Upon landing on the private beach, enjoy a freshly prepared coffee while taking in the serene views of Kihoku's sea. Spend your time swimming, searching for sea glass, or simply relaxing as you wish.
  7. Return to the Starting Point
    Depart the private beach and paddle back to the starting point. You'll be shuttled to the base to change before concluding the tour.

    Note: The base offers dining and a guesthouse. Hot spring baths and meals are available for an additional fee.

    For those arriving by car:
    Exit at Kii-Nagashima IC on the Kisei Expressway, head south on Route 42 towards Owase for 6 km, turn left at the "Dose" intersection, cross the railroad crossing, and turn left again.

    For those arriving by train:
    Approximately 1.5 km from JR Minose Station.

  • Participants must be in middle school or older.
  • If you weigh over 80 kg, please consult with us in advance for board preparation.

  • The tour may be canceled due to adverse weather conditions (rain or strong winds). In such cases, we will notify you by phone the evening before the tour. If it's difficult to make a decision the day before, we will make a final decision and contact you approximately two hours before the tour on the day itself.
