    Historic Old Town of Hida Takayama
    Hida Takayama preserves the atmosphere of an old castle and merchant town from the Edo period and is often called the “Little Kyoto of Hida.” Stroll along Sanmachi Street, lined with traditional houses from the late Edo to Meiji era, and enjoy local specialties such as Hida beef and Takayama ramen.

    Shirakawa-go Village
    Shirakawa-go, located in the mountains of Gifu Prefecture, is famous for its UNESCO World Heritage gassho-zukuri village. The steep thatched roofs are designed to withstand heavy snowfall, reflecting traditional wisdom. The beautiful scenery changes with the seasons and fascinates visitors.

    After arriving at the hotel, please relax and enjoy your stay. Dinner will be served as a buffet or a set meal.

    After checking out of the hotel, the Day 2 tour begins.

    Arrive at Ogizawa Station and visit Kurobe Dam.
    Planned Route:
    Ogizawa → Kurobe Dam → Kurobedaira → Daikanbo → Murodo (2,450 m, snow corridor walk) → Bijodaira → Tateyama Station.
    Travel includes the Kanden Tunnel Electric Bus, Kurobe Cable Car, Tateyama Tunnel Bus, Highland Bus, and Tateyama Cable Car.

    Kurobe Dam
    Kurobe Dam, also known as “Kuroyon” (Kurobe River No.4 Power Plant), is Japan’s tallest dam. Built on the Kurobe River in Tateyama, Toyama Prefecture, it was completed in 1963 under the direction of engineer Shiro Otakaki.

    Daikanbo
    Daikanbo, located at an altitude of 2,316 m, offers spectacular panoramic views of Kurobe Lake and the Ushiro-Tateyama mountain range. Enjoy breathtaking scenery from the observation terrace above the clouds.

Restrictions

  • On the day of the tour, one tour escort will accompany the group, and no emergency contact number will be available. If you do not arrive by the meeting time, it will be treated as a cancellation and the tour will depart as scheduled. Please check the meeting point in advance and arrive on time.
  • A tour escort will accompany the group, but sightseeing guidance will not be provided. Please note this before making your reservation.
  • If the tour is canceled on the day due to bad weather or other reasons, the operating company will contact you by phone or email. If you do not receive any notification, the tour will proceed as scheduled.
  • The tour may be canceled if the number of participants is fewer than 16.
  • Please note that the snow walls at Murodo usually melt by around June.
  • Eating, drinking, and loud conversations are prohibited.
  • Children aged 3 and above are counted as adults. Children aged 2 and under may join free of charge, but no bed, seat, or meals will be provided.

  • Each passenger may bring one suitcase-sized piece of luggage. Depending on the vehicle on the day, luggage may need to be stored in the trunk or kept with you at your seat.

Additional notes

  • The itinerary order, departure/arrival times, and duration of each stop may change due to traffic or weather conditions on the day. If delays cause you to miss connections with public transportation, any additional transportation or accommodation costs will be at your own expense. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Delays or non-participation due to transportation delays will also be subject to cancellation fees.
  • The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
  • Please note that this tour may be shared with international visitors to Japan.
  • [About the Tateyama Kurobe Mountain Visit]

    Please do not pick flowers or plants. Take all trash with you when you leave. Be courteous and greet others when passing on the trail.

    There are no restrooms along the route, so please use the facilities at stations or hotels beforehand.

    Mobile phone signals are very limited in the mountains except near hotels or stations.
  • [About the Hotel Stay]

    In-room facilities such as refrigerators and safes may vary depending on the hotel.

    If the departure time is moved earlier to match the mountain schedule, breakfast may not be provided.
  • On Day 2, if the hotel departure is delayed due to mountain schedule conditions, arrival in Osaka may be after 11:00 PM.。
  • No guide will accompany the tour, but staff who can speak Chinese will be available.
  • The Snow Corridor (Yuki no Otani) may be closed depending on weather conditions.
  • Heavy traffic is expected during Japan’s Golden Week in May. Please note that the return time to Osaka may be significantly delayed.

    In addition, if the arrival time is delayed for unavoidable reasons and you need to take a taxi or arrange accommodation, those expenses will be at your own cost.
  • Seat selection is not available. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the bus, and there is no restroom on board.
  • If you are vegetarian, please inform us at the time of booking.

1泊2日の強行軍でしたが、逆に間延びのしないぎっしり詰まった素晴らしい旅行となりました。
特に立山黒部アルペンルートの雪の大谷は圧巻の迫力！天気にも恵まれ、どんな写真を撮っても綺麗に撮れました。
また行きたいなと思いました。

大手のツアーは完売もしくは日程が合わず、他を探していたところ、こちらを見つけた。
黒部立山だけでなく、飛騨高山、白川郷もまで、1泊2日で効率よく周ることができ大満足。
バスのドライバーさんは日本人の2人体制で、完璧な運転。笑顔を絶やさず、乗り降りの際の安全確認、荷物の上げ下ろしまでしてくれて、日本流のおもてなしで非常に安心。
ガイドの劉さんの時間配分やアナウンスも大変上手。普段は個人旅行だけ… 最初は自分で行こうと計画していたが、アルペンルートの乗り物WEB切符のオンライン個人予約がすでに完売していたので断念。
