- —Course decided.There are various courses available, from a round trip of about 1 hour to the Yayoi-sugi (a cedar tree that is approximately 3000 years old), to a 4-hour course that goes to the Moss Forest. We can set the course according to your schedule and wishes.
- —Shiratani Unsuikyo trekkingShiratani Unsuikyo is a forest that embodies the image of Yakushima with its greenery and water. There are photo opportunities everywhere you look.
- —4-hour course isYou will walk along the Kusugawa footpath. The Kusugawa footpath, made of granite during the Edo period, remains intact even after hundreds of years. It was an important mountain trail used for mountain worship and timber transportation since ancient times.

Restrictions
- Adult rates apply to those in junior high school and above. If you wish to have children in elementary school or younger participate, please select the relevant item and quantity from the options screen.
- Those up to 16 years old must participate with a guardian.
- Climbing in Yakushima requires several hours of uphill and physical strength. Please manage your health before coming to Yakushima.
- If you feel unwell during the trekking, the guide will give you advice. Please follow it.
- If it is determined that we cannot reach the destination, we will turn back. In the case of a dedicated guide, we can respond flexibly according to the customer's needs.
- If you wish to have a dedicated guide, there will be an additional charge of 10,000yen per group per day. If you wish, please select from the option screen.
- If you make a reservation for one person and no other customers participate in the tour on the day, there will be an additional charge of 10,000 yen for a dedicated guide. Please understand this before applying. The additional fee should be paid directly on site.
- If you wish to rent climbing shoes or rain gear, please let us know at the time of reservation. If you need to arrange for rentals, you will need to tell us your size at least one week before you arrive. Also, if there are any additional charges, please pay them directly on site. *Please note that depending on the time of your application, it may be difficult to arrange.
- There are several rivers flowing in Shiratani Unsuikyo, and it can be dangerous during heavy rains, so it may be closed. In that case, we will change to Yakusugiland. Please understand this in advance.
- National Park entrance fee: 500 yen per person (adult) *Separate fee(800 yen from April 2026)
What to bring
- Trekking boots/socks (wool is best for winter)/backpack 25L-40L/backpack cover/warm clothing (such as fleece)/rainwear (top)/rainwear (bottom)/pants (jeans are not suitable)/T-shirt/sweater (winter)/hat/gloves/headlamp/batteries/water bottle/snacks (candy, chocolate, cookies, etc.)/health insurance card/gaiters/shopping bag/light crampons (winter)/sunscreen/portable umbrella/walking stick.
Additional notes
- The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
- In Yakushima, you can purchase general goods, but the shops open at 9 a.m. If you plan to go trekking, it often starts early in the morning, so please prepare snacks in advance.
- The course will be chosen after discussing with the guide on the day of the tour, taking into account your physical condition, weather, time, etc. Since you will enjoy trekking while the guide explains, the actual time required will be significantly different from the estimated time of the course.
