- —Please enjoy the day trip tour to Kuromidake.Okudake is a trekking course that can be done in a day. This course is suitable for beginners, but it is an 8-hour trek, so please participate when you are in good health.

- —The drive to the Yodogou trailhead.As you ascend to an altitude of 1300m, you will notice the vegetation gradually changing. During the climb, you can see alpine plants.

- —From the summitThere are places near the summit where you need to climb using a rope. From the summit, you can see a wonderful 360° panorama with Nagatadake and Miyanouradake to the north, Hananoego below to the south, and Takabanadake to the southwest.

Restrictions
- Adult rates apply to those in junior high school and above. If you wish to have children in elementary school or younger participate, please select the relevant item and quantity from the options screen.
- Those up to 16 years old must participate with a guardian.
- Climbing in Yakushima requires several hours of uphill and physical strength. Please manage your health before coming to Yakushima.
- If you feel unwell during the trekking, the guide will give you advice. Please follow it.
- If it is determined that we cannot reach the destination, we will turn back. In the case of a dedicated guide, we can respond flexibly according to the customer's needs.
- If you wish to have a dedicated guide, there will be an additional charge of 10,000 yen per group per day. If you wish to avail this service, please select it from the options screen.
- If you are booking for one person only and no other customers join the tour on the day, there will be an additional charge of 10,000 yen for a dedicated guide. Please understand this before applying. Please pay the additional fee directly on site.
- If you wish to rent climbing shoes or rain gear, please let us know at the time of reservation. If you need to arrange for rentals, you will need to tell us your size at least one week before you arrive. Also, if there are any additional charges, please pay them directly on site. *Please note that depending on the time of your application, it may be difficult to arrange.

What to bring
- Trekking boots/socks (wool is best for winter)/backpack 25L-40L/backpack cover/warm clothing (such as fleece)/rainwear (top)/rainwear (bottom)/pants (jeans are not suitable)/T-shirt/sweater (winter)/hat/gloves/headlamp/batteries/water bottle/snacks (candy, chocolate, cookies, etc.)/health insurance card/gaiters/shopping bag/light crampons (winter)/sunscreen/portable umbrella/walking stick.
Additional notes
- The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
- In Yakushima, you can purchase general goods, but the shops open at 9 a.m. If you plan to go trekking, it often starts early in the morning, so please prepare snacks in advance.
- Although there are water sources along the way, we recommend bringing at least 1 liter of water, especially in the summer. Additionally, as there is no shade on Mt. Kuromidake, a hat is necessary. Please also prepare extra warm clothing as it can be windy at the summit.
