Note:
・Pickup is not available for Shirahama, Kanpira, or Sonai areas.
・Guests in these areas should meet at Uehara Port using a bus or rental car.
Pickup Times:
・Ohara area: 7:30–8:30 AM
・Takana area (Eco Village, Painumaya): 8:15–8:45 AM
・Uehara area: 9:00–9:30 AM
・Shirahama, Kanpira, Sonai areas: Meet at Uehara Port at 9:15 AM.■ For Guests Coming from Ishigaki Island
・The tour departs from Ishigaki Island Remote Island Terminal.
・Please arrive at Uehara Port on the day of the tour.
・If Uehara Port is closed, go to Ohara Port instead (details provided the day before).
Note:
・If Uehara Port is closed, snorkeling may be canceled due to rough seas.
Ferry Times:
・To Uehara Port: Depart Ishigaki at 8:30 AM.
・To Ohara Port (if Uehara is closed): Depart Ishigaki at 7:30 AM.
■ For Guests Coming from Taketomi or Kohama Islands
・Travel via Ishigaki Island to join the tour.
Itinerary:
・Take the first ferry from your island to Ishigaki.
・From Ishigaki, board the 8:30 AM ferry to Uehara Port.
Important:
・If staying on Taketomi or Kohama on the tour day, you cannot join due to ferry schedules.
・Stay on Ishigaki or Iriomote the night before to participate.
Restrictions
- Participants from elementary school age up to 65 years old are welcome to join.
- For young elementary school children and guests aged 55 to 65, we will conduct a fitness check.
- For safety reasons, you are required to wear a life jacket or wetsuit during snorkeling.
- If less than 2 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.

● Upper Body
Wear a long-sleeve rash guard, Under Armour, or HeatTech as a base layer, with a lightweight T-shirt on top. Prepare nylon outerwear or a rain jacket for cold weather.
● Lower Body
Layer long leggings, spats, or HeatTech under half-pants or swimwear for warmth and mobility. Alternatively, wear lightweight, flexible long pants. - ■ Summer (May to September)
● Upper Body
Wear a quick-drying long-sleeve inner layer and a short-sleeve T-shirt, or just a lightweight long-sleeve T-shirt.
● Lower Body
Layer leggings or spats under half-pants or swimwear, or wear lightweight, quick-drying long pants. - Please wear swimwear as your lower body may get wet for various reasons, such as walking in the river or rain. Thick clothing, such as jeans, chinos, or sweatpants, is unsuitable throughout the year, so please avoid wearing them as much as possible. [A]
- Other personal items (such as tissues, etc.)
- For smokers, please use a portable ashtray.
- There are no toilets in the field, so having tissues and a trash bag will give you peace of mind. [A]

- Personal belongings are not covered by insurance.
*We provide waterproof bags, but please take full responsibility for preventing submersion or loss. [A] - Guests staying on Taketomi Island or Kohama Island on the day of the tour will not be able to participate as it is not possible to catch the ferry in time. [A]
- If your accommodation on the day of the tour is on Ishigaki Island or Iriomote Island, you can participate. [A]
- On days when strong north winds cause Uehara Port to be closed, snorkeling may be canceled.
- Even if snorkeling is canceled, canoeing is still possible, so we will discuss it with you the day before. [A]
- In the case of hazardous weather conditions, the tour may be canceled or the course may be changed. Please note that changes may also occur due to weather conditions leading up to the day before. If any changes are necessary, we will discuss them with you the day before.
- We will call you the day before to confirm your reservation. Please ensure that you are reachable and avoid situations where contact cannot be made, such as being out of service area or forgetting your phone.
- Due to ferry schedules, day-trip guests from Taketomi Island or Kohama Island cannot join our afternoon course. However, if your accommodation on the day of the tour is on Ishigaki Island or Iriomote Island, you can participate. [B]

Kukaze staff will pick you up at your accommodation (service available from Toyohara to Urauchi settlements).
Pickup times vary depending on your accommodation area, and we will contact you the day before.
*Pickup is not available for the Shirahama, Kanpira, and Sonai areas.
Guests staying in these areas will need to meet and depart at Uehara Port.
Please use a bus or rental car to reach Uehara Port. [A] - The scheduled meeting times are as follows:

Pickup between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM
◎ Guests staying in the Takana area (Eco Village Iriomote, Painumaya Resort)
Pickup between 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM

Pickup between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM
◎ Guests staying in the Sonai, Kanpira, and Shirahama areas
